Oral Arguments on Ranked Choice Voting

Registration is closed for this event
On Thursday, April 13, the Maine Supreme Judicial Court will hear oral arguments on Ranked Choice Voting in response to the Senate majority's request for a solemn occasion. You're invited to attend and listen to the Justices question legal counsel for supporters and opponents of Maine's Ranked Choice Voting Law.

Arrival: Oral arguments will be heard in the historic ceremonial Courtroom 7 at 8:30 AM. Supporters are encouraged to arrive by 8:00 AM to secure limited seating. Please give yourself an extra 10 minutes to make it through security.

The oral arguments are expected to last approximately 30 minutes. Following the arguments, supporters will go to the State House to urge the Legislature to implement Ranked Choice Voting without delay.

Parking: There are two free parking lots at the courthouse for easy parking.

Additional details to follow. We look forward to seeing you on April 13.
