Democracy Reform Volunteer Convention

Join MCCE and friends, Sunday April 23rd, at Thomas College in Waterville, from 9:30-3:30 for a volunteer convention!

  • Learn the latest about efforts to get money out of politics, implement Ranked Choice Voting, and make it easier for Mainers to register to vote!
  • Develop the skills to be an effective advocate for the issues you care about! What strategies actually move lawmakers to support a policy? How do you build a diverse movement in your community? How do you find common ground with people across the political divide? We'll answer these questions and more in our skills trainings!
  • Meet advocates from around the state, and build the connections that move our work forward!

Whether you are an experienced activist, or engaging with politics for the first time, you'll leave Waterville with new skills and new confidence that we, the people, are prepared to lead.

The convention, including lunch, is free. Can you make a contribution to help defray the costs and allow us to offer this valuable training to more people?
