Here's your 2024 League recap! 💫 As we navigate the challenges that we'll face in 2025, there's still so much to celebrate here in Maine. We're grateful to our local Leagues and League community for your continued support.

The 132nd Legislature has begun, but not much has happened yet. Legislators were sworn in and received their committee assignments. Folks will enjoy the holidays before things kick off in 2025.

With the election behind us, we're celebrating the work of multiple students and teachers leading civic activities in their schools. This work increases connection, benefits the social and learning environments and promotes civic leadership.

As I reflect on the election, I am holding a mix of complicated emotions: gratitude and pride, exhaustion and determination — and hope. I offer these thoughts as an invitation to start a conversation, working out our next steps together.
